What's the difference between pausing, cancelling, and skipping a delivery.
With Sprwt both you and your customers have several options to control and manage the status of a subscription, renewal periods, and more.
There are three fundamental functions:
Pause and reactivate a subscription
Skip a delivery
Cancel a subscription
In scenarios #1 and #2; pausing a subscription and skipping a delivery date. The subscription status is still set to active. When a customer cancels a subscription the subscription will NOT be active.
If a customer _pauses a subscription_, it will pause all future billing renewals. Any deliveries which have been paid for will not be refunded or cancelled. In order to cancel and refund any active deliveries the customer must contact you to manage the refund process.
If a customer _cancels a subscription_, it will cancel all future billing renewals. Any deliveries which have been paid for will not be refunded or cancelled. In order to cancel and refund any active deliveries the customer must contact you to manage the refund process.
When a customer _skips a delivery,_ this customer is skipping an upcoming delivery that they have already paid for. Therefore, they will receive the same amount of meals at a future delivery date. The system will by default shift the next billing date to the following week. Skipping a delivery date DOES NOT pause or cancel all future billing renewals.
