Can I create a recurring coupon for subscriptions or change the renewing price of a subscription for an individual customer
The million dollar question - can I create a coupon that recurs every renewal. The simple answer is no. However, that doesn't mean you can't give a customer a recurring discounted rate for their subscription renewal.
To get started go to admin dashboard > subscriptions > click on the customer ID > change the rate to renewal
**
Whatever rate you set in this field will change the recurring renewal rate for the subscription. Please note this is the subtotal cost and will not effect delivery fees or taxes.
Fun fact: If you want to give a customer free deliveries what you can do is change the rate to renewal to be the cost of the plan - the cost of deliveries; for example, if the plan for 10 meals is $100 and deliveries are $10 you can change the rate to renew to be $90. This will then charge the customer $90 (plan rate) + $10 (delivery fee) for the same total of $100; thus giving in theory free deliveries.
