Auto Select creates a normal order for the meals it picks. It reuses the subscription checkout's saved billing details and shipping/pickup choice, is attributed to the staff member who ran it (not a customer self-checkout), and is set to use the customer's account balance first with their saved card as the payment method. For a standard weekly subscription the meals are already paid for by the plan, so the order normally comes to zero; surcharge (premium) meals are only included when Order: Subscription > Allow AutoChoose Included Surcharge Meals? is Yes (it defaults to No) and the plan includes them. If the order cannot be saved because of a payment problem, the subscription is listed in the red error box with the payment error text.
