It depends on the member's You pay this member subscription switch at the time the subscription is created:

• Switch on (manager pays): the checkout uses the manager's Stripe customer and saved cards; the order and the subscription are flagged as paid by the manager, and every automatic renewal charges the manager's card. The member sees This is being paid by your account manager and no card option at checkout.
• Switch off (member pays): the member's own payment details are used and renewals charge the member.

The payer flag is stored on the subscription when it is created, so changing the switch later affects new subscriptions; if you need an existing subscription's payer changed, contact Sprwt support.
