When the AI generator (or Apply Recipe to Meal) cannot find an existing sub-recipe with the same name, it creates a new sub-recipe with a $0 Ingredients COGS per Qty price and a 0 Base Weight, so it can still be linked. Open each new sub-recipe under Ordering > Kitchen > Sub-Recipes, set its price and Base Weight (and macros if you want automatic macros), and the meal's production price will update. Where a sub-recipe with a matching name already existed, the AI reused it and its existing cost applies.
