No. Googlebot, Bingbot and the other ordinary search engines are deliberately exempt from every rule, so normal indexing continues. AI search crawlers and live AI fetchers (the ones that make your store appear when someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for meal prep nearby) are allowed on the public storefront by default and only refused on the admin and checkout. Real customers in a normal browser are never affected, and even when the admin is locked for review the storefront, menu and checkout keep taking orders – only the admin is closed. The only things refused on public pages by default are AI training crawlers (which send no visitors back) and headless/driver-controlled browsers.
