In the Transactions list a Withdrawal is displayed as a negative amount and a Deposit as a positive amount in green. Amounts are always stored as positive numbers; the Type decides the sign. The currency symbol comes from the account the transaction belongs to. Bold amounts simply mean the transaction is still unreviewed.
