Why does /admin send me to the Catering dashboard, the KDS or the Products dashboard instead of the Meal Prep Dashboard?
The Meal Prep Dashboard only opens when at least one meal-prep style module is enabled on your account: Meals by Unit (à la carte), Meal Packs, Subscriptions, By the Pound, Custom Meal Builder, Retail or Wholesale. If none of those are on, /admin automatically redirects you to the dashboard that matches what you do have:
- Catering or Proposals module → /admin/catering/dashboard
- otherwise Realtime module → the KDS (/admin/kds)
- otherwise Products module → /admin/products/dashboard
This is by design — there is nothing to show on the meal-prep view for those setups.
