Every catering report that also pulls in Proposals data uses the same shared logic: it pulls meals from both the Catering checkout system and, if Proposals is enabled, every Proposal's meal line items for the same date range — then merges duplicate meal+portion rows and tags each contributing source as "Catering" or "Events" so kitchen staff get one combined prep number regardless of which system the order came through.
