Why do I get "Invalid syntax - check for unbalanced quotation marks" or a "Mismatch" note in Custom Texts?
- "Invalid syntax - check for unbalanced quotation marks" appears when a text box contains an odd number of quote characters (' or ") that aren't paired up within that same box. In the current version this check does not tell an apostrophe apart from a quotation mark, so an ordinary contraction like Don't or we're (a single, unpaired ') triggers the same error and blocks saving — the form will not save while the error is shown. If you hit this on text with an apostrophe, rephrase to avoid it (e.g. "Do not" instead of "Don't") or make sure any '/" characters in that box come in matching pairs.
- "Mismatch - does not exist in original version" is informational: you have a custom text for an entry that Sprwt's current default set no longer contains (typically after a platform update). It is harmless; clear the box to drop it.
