Check three things: (1) the portion's Active toggle - quantities and macros of inactive portions are deleted on save; (2) the portion selector above the macros table - Auto Macros? is a per-portion setting, so a portion you left on manual with empty inputs saves as 0; switch to that portion, enable Auto Macros or type values, then save; (3) ingredient quantities - a portion with no quantities has nothing to sum. If you used Auto-fill macros with AI or applied an AI recipe, remember these switch every portion's Auto Macros off, so later ingredient edits no longer update the numbers until you turn it back on.
