Any cart with a Catering or Venue line item must have an Event Start Time set, and — if the store shows an event end time field ("Catering Show End Time") — an Event End Time too, before checkout will complete. The start time also has to already be in the future relative to now; a past time is rejected with "Event Time should be in the future".
