For balance accounts in the Cash and Bank, Money in Transit, Credit Card and Loan and Line of Credit groups the Account Type is fixed once created – the field shows as read-only text. Currency can only be changed on Money in Transit, Credit Card and Loan and Line of Credit accounts; Cash and Bank and all other balance accounts keep the currency they were created with. Connected bank accounts (which Sprwt adds under Cash and Bank / Credit Card automatically) follow the same locks. If you try to work around it, saving returns Account Type is not editable or Account Currency is not editable. If you need a different type, deactivate the account and create a new one.
