Who can use the Real Time pages and the KDS? What permissions or modules are needed?
- Module: everything in this area requires the purchased Real Time module. Without it the pages redirect back to the admin home and the storefront /realtime page redirects to the home page.
- Kitchen selected: the KDS, Real Time Settings and Real Time Menu all require an active kitchen (location) to be selected in the admin panel.
- Real Time > Settings link is shown to users with List Customer Orders (Checkouts group).
- Real Time Menu requires Create menus (Kitchen group).
- KDS viewing only requires being logged in as an admin user with the module active, but every action on the KDS (Accept, meal status taps, Completed, Ready for Pickup, Picked Up, Request Courier, Cancel/Refund) requires Edit Customer Orders. Without it the action returns "Invalid Permissions !".
