Sprwt recognises Plaid's account types Depository (checking, savings, money market, CD, HSA cash, PayPal, prepaid, cash management, EBT), Credit (bank-issued or PayPal credit cards), Loan (auto, business, commercial, mortgage, line of credit, student, overdraft, etc.), Investment (brokerage, retirement plans, ISAs, crypto exchanges and many more) and Other. Every selected account is added to your Chart of Accounts — in the current version always under the Cash and Bank category, regardless of which of these types it actually is. The Plaid-reported type isn't shown on the persistent Connected Accounts card list; you'll only see it briefly, as a single label (e.g. "Depository"), while linking or re-importing an account in the Import transactions window.
