Two templates under Marketing > System emails are involved: User: Giftcard (trigger "user_giftcard", template file "email_giftcard") sent to the recipient, which contains the recipient name, code, formatted value and, when scheduled, the delivery date; and Admin: Giftcard (template file "admin_email_giftcard") sent to your business email at purchase time. If a delivery date is set on the card, the recipient email is held and sent automatically by a scheduled job on that date instead of immediately. Super admins can send both templates to their own email with the Test Email button on a gift card's admin page to check the wording.
