When you open /admin without picking a date, Sprwt looks for the earliest delivery date that has not been marked Finished and that falls on one of the active kitchen's enabled weekdays (Meal Prep days, plus Retail/Wholesale days when the Retail module is on). Dates outside those weekdays are also considered if they already have checkouts. It then redirects you to /admin/?dd=YYYY-MM-DD for that date.

If no such meal-prep date exists it falls back, in order, to the next date with a Catering menu, then a POS/Retail menu, then a Realtime menu.

Because the rule is "earliest unfinished date", if you never click Finish Production on old days the dashboard keeps landing on a date in the past. Finish those days (or just pick today's date from the calendar) to fix that.
