Each time the Connected Accounts page or the dashboard Connected accounts card loads, Sprwt asks Plaid for the current balance and currency of every active linked account and displays it next to the masked account number. The institution name and logo also come from Plaid. Balances are live figures from your bank, not computed from the Sprwt ledger, so they may differ from what your Sprwt transactions add up to. If Plaid cannot be reached the balance shows blank.
