Three different features in Sprwt all use the word "notification":

1. Notification bell — the bell icon in the admin top bar. It's a live, shared feed of business events (new orders, failed texts, low stock, cancelled subscriptions, new reviews, proposal updates), stored permanently and visible to every admin who's logged in.
2. Popup notifications — one-time onboarding and marketing pop-up modals shown to regular staff accounts (not the store owner/superadmin) the first time a certain condition becomes true — for example, no bank account connected yet, or a new feature just launched. These aren't tracked on Sprwt's servers; your own browser remembers which ones you've dismissed.
3. "Recent sales" popup — a toast shown to your customers on the storefront (never in the admin panel) that rotates through recent purchases to build trust and urgency while people shop. It's completely unrelated to the admin notification bell.
