It is a CSV upload tool (labelled AI Stock Import) that sets the quantities for many meals, portions, locations and dates at once instead of typing them in one by one. Open Ordering > Retail > Retail Menu, and with the Retail module enabled click Update Stock with AI. Upload a CSV file with the columns location_id, fulfillment_date, meal_id, portion_size_id and quantity (or download the pre-filled template link in the modal), choose whether uploaded quantities should also be deducted as "Sold" from on-hand stock, then Review the parsed rows before anything is written. Despite the "AI" branding, it is a straight CSV parser (it recognizes common header spellings and file layouts) with no external AI call; the fee funds the feature rather than an API cost. It requires the Edit Retail Menus permission.
