When a catering proposal is set up for Pay now / Pay later and the customer has paid only a deposit or instalment, that payment creates an order that carries no ordering-module lines of its own. The Profit And Loss Report picks those up as Partial payments under Proposals & Invoices (visible on the Revenue Detailed tab) so that money received on partially paid proposals is still included in Gross Catering Sales and Total Gross Sales.
