Marketing > Hub holds the loyalty and gamification settings of the Marketing Hub module: cashback on purchases, refer-a-friend credits, birthday credit, share/review rewards and the recent-sales popup. The tab (and every setting shown on it) only appears once the Marketing Hub module is purchased. Credits are added to the customer's digital wallet balance, which they can spend at checkout.
