The KDS is the full-screen Real Time > Dashboard page (/admin/kds). It is designed to sit on a kitchen screen or tablet and shows today's Real Time orders as cards, grouped by status, with a live clock, a countdown to each order's promised time and colour-coded urgency.

From the KDS your staff can:

1. Accept or Reject new orders.
2. Tap each meal line to move it through New → Processing → Ready.
3. Mark the whole order Completed once every meal is ready.
4. Mark pickups Ready for Pickup and Picked Up, or Request Courier (Uber Direct) for deliveries.
5. Cancel an order and issue a refund from the same screen.

The right-hand "Meal status" panel totals every meal across all open orders so the line can see how many of each item is New, Processing or Ready.
