The overlay menu (opened from the header) is how you move between the POS's screens without leaving the terminal: Checkout (the selling screen), Transactions, Customers, Orders, Reports (drawer/sales settings), and Proposals (if the Proposals module is on) — plus a link back to the regular admin dashboard. Each item is hidden unless the logged-in employee's permission profile allows it (e.g. Orders needs "List Orders", Reports needs "List Transactions").
