Both create the same payout record and mark the selected commissions Paid. With Send to digital balance off, Sprwt only records that the amount was paid by an external method (check, bank transfer, PayPal…) — you must actually send the money yourself. With it on, Sprwt immediately adds the amount to the affiliate's Sprwt digital wallet (labeled "Affiliates - Payout #N" in their balance history), which they can spend on your site; no external payment is needed. The affiliate gets the same payout notification email either way, and their Payouts tab looks the same in both cases.
