• Is Active? – whether the kitchen exists operationally. Inactive kitchens are moved to the Inactive tab, do not count towards your active-kitchen limit, disappear from the admin Kitchen selector and are never offered to customers. Use it to retire or temporarily park a location.
• Allow customers to select this kitchen – whether the kitchen is public on the website. When off, the kitchen still works for staff (you can build menus, take orders through Checkout-As, and see it on the dashboard), but shoppers cannot pick it in the storefront kitchen selector and it is skipped when Sprwt resolves which kitchen a visitor belongs to. Useful for a commissary kitchen that only serves internal or wholesale channels.

On admin pages, having exactly one active kitchen selects it automatically regardless of the public toggle. On the storefront, though, that automatic selection still requires Allow customers to select this kitchen to be on — if your only kitchen has it switched off, the storefront resolves to no kitchen at all, so leave it on for your sole/primary kitchen.
