Stripe: Direct Transaction decides how card money flows:

• Customer->Client (direct) - the customer is charged straight on your own Stripe account using your own API keys. None of the in-app Stripe pages (Balance, Payouts, Payments, Disputes, Account Settings, Dashboard) are available in this mode.
• Customer->Platform->Client (Express / Connect) - the customer is charged on Sprwt's platform and the funds are transferred to your connected Express account. This is the current standard; it enables all the Stripe pages, dispute handling and fee reporting inside Sprwt.

The Connect page's Agree button switches an account from direct mode to Express mode (it clears the old keys, so you must complete Express onboarding afterwards). In the current version this setting has no customer-visible settings tab of its own, so it is normally changed by Sprwt or through the Agree button rather than edited by hand.
