It decides what customers can customise on a meal:

• None – no modifiers.
• Notes – customers can add free-text notes to a meal.
• Recipe Swaps – customers can swap ingredients/sub-recipes as defined on the recipe.
• Notes & Recipe Swaps – both.

The Recipe Swaps options are only offered on the Base, Pro and Enterprise plans; on other plans the list shows just None and Notes. Sprwt super admins always see all four options.
