With the Ingredients API module, the Add new button becomes a split button with from scratch and from Database. from Database opens Add New Ingredients from Database, where you search Sprwt's shared ingredient database; results show image, name, Category, Base Qty, Price Qty and (with the Allergens & Dislikes module) Allergens and Dislikes. Click the + to insert the ingredient into your account with its image, category, unit, base quantity, price, trim, allergens, dislikes and macros mapped to your own lists. Mapping relies on the Ingredient API field you set on your Units, Ingredient Categories, Allergens, Dislikes and Macros; if the unit is not mapped you get "Unit is not found".
