A preset menu is a saved, reusable list of meals that is not tied to any date. You give it a name, optionally tag it with the ordering modules it is meant for (Meal Prep, Catering, In-Store, Realtime, POS, Wholesale, Retail), and add meals to it exactly the way you add meals to a date. Later, on any menu page, Select A Preset Menu > Add Meals copies all of its meals onto the date you are viewing in one click.

Typical uses: a "Week A / Week B" rotation, a seasonal catering package, a standard POS line-up. Preset menus also have a Menu Breakdown tab that calculates ingredient quantities and food cost for everything on the list.
