A POS Device is a saved configuration record for one physical checkout station: a name, the retail location ("Associated Retail Location", i.e. a pickup point) it belongs to, which ordering modules it can sell, and which printers/receipt sizes it prints to. It is not tied to a specific browser or piece of hardware — any signed-in employee opening /admin/pos on any screen can pick that device from a list and start selling on it. Drawers, sales reports, and the receipt printer configuration are all scoped to a POS Device.
