A Cash Drawer record is Sprwt's software "shift" for a POS Device's cash: it opens with a starting cash amount, accumulates the cash sales/refunds and any manual paid in/out entries recorded against it while it's open, and closes with an actual counted amount so you can see the variance. It's tied to a POS Device, not to a physical till — you "open" one from inside the terminal before you can sell, and "close" it (a cash count) at the end of a shift or day.
