With the Ingredients API module, when your own ingredients run out of matches for a search term the picker also queries Sprwt's online ingredient database and shows those results with an API badge. Clicking + on one of them first copies it into your ingredient list (with its unit, price per quantity, trim and macros mapped to your macros) and then adds it to the meal. Without that module only your own ingredients and sub-recipes are searched.
