The value is written immediately for the kitchen shown in the section badge (or globally), and the previous value is recorded in the change history so administrators can see who changed what. The card's status badge is re-checked and updated in the window and on the page behind it.

A few fields have side effects:

• Changing System Email - Email Address From to a new, unverified address automatically sends an Amazon verification email to that address (when Amazon email sending is in use).
• Saving the KLCT API Key immediately runs a full contact-list sync to your marketing tools.
• Uploading or deleting a file (such as the newsletter popup image) reloads the window so the new file name is shown.
