A "Transaction complete" confirmation screen appears with a green checkmark (and, for a cash sale, the change due and the total tendered). From there you can tap Go to checkout #{id} to open that sale's full detail/receipt screen, or New Order to close the confirmation and start ringing up the next customer with an empty cart.
