It opens that customer's (or pickup location's) record in the Root Planner dashboard in a new tab — the customer edit page on my.rootplanner.io (or the beta/dev dashboard when the Version setting is not Live). Use it to check or correct the addresses and notification settings Root Planner holds for the customer.
