When the Catering module is on, the Catering tab of the Prices table replaces Regular Price with Minimum Quantity on the default catering portion, and shows a Minimum Quantity box on each extra catering portion. It is the smallest number of servings a customer can order of that meal in catering. The default catering minimum must be at least 1 - otherwise saving fails with "The catering minimum quantity should be greater than 1".
