On Kitchen settings > Quick setup the Kitchen setup panel (marked Recommended first) offers pre-selected chips in four groups: Meal types (when the meal is eaten), Diet types (customers can save these as preferences, honoured by auto-select), Portion sizes (upgrade sizes; your standard portion stays the smallest) and Sub-recipe groups (how prepped components are sorted on the Sub-Recipe and Cooking reports). Untick anything you do not offer and press Create selected; Sprwt creates them exactly as if you had added them on the Meal Categories, Portion Sizes and Sub-recipe Groups screens, reports Created N categories, N portion size(s), N sub-recipe group(s) and refreshes the task cards. Items that already exist are not offered again, so rerunning is safe. Suppliers are deliberately not seeded (they are your real vendors) – add them on the Suppliers task. When nothing is left to seed the panel reads Kitchen setup is done with the counts you have.
