In the current version, it sets which reseller/location the account belongs to, for accounts operating more than one kitchen. The field stores the account's location; other areas of the admin panel that are location-scoped (menus, pricing, staff, reports) are expected to read it, though which specific screens key off it wasn't traced end-to-end here.
