Is Active? (tooltip: "This plan is active to select?") controls whether the plan can be chosen for new subscriptions. An inactive plan is removed from the customer subscription page entirely and shows a grey Inactive status in the plans list. Existing subscriptions on the plan are not cancelled, and they keep renewing and charging automatically on schedule — turning a plan inactive does not stop its automatic renewals. If you also want to stop those, review and cancel/pause the subscriptions yourself in the plan's Current Subscriptions section.

New plans default to active. There is no delete button for plans; deactivating is the way to retire one.
