In the current version this Yes/No setting in Theme > Navigation is not read anywhere on the website, so changing it has no visible effect. To show a Select Meals link for subscribers, tick Select Meals in Pages to show on header instead (it appears for logged-in customers when the Subscriptions module has Choose Meals On Subscriptions enabled).
