Hide Entire Plan from Customer? (tooltip: "Hide this plan from the customer subscription selection page (it stays available on POS and for existing subscribers)") removes the plan from the public subscription page while keeping it fully alive: existing subscribers keep renewing, and staff can still sell it through the POS. The plans list shows a red Hidden from customers badge.

Is Active? = off retires the plan everywhere for new orders — it is dropped from the website, and the renewal logic also reads the active flag.

Use Hide for private or legacy plans you still sell in person or keep for current customers; use Inactive to stop selling it.
