With Auto Apply Coupon to Cart on, customers do not need to type the code: when a cart has a subtotal above 0 and no coupon already applied, Sprwt looks through the active, in-date, in-stock auto-apply coupons (ordered alphabetically by name) and adds the first one that passes all its normal rules (allowed ordering systems, minimum cart value, one-per-customer, specific user/membership plan, first-time buyer, and the "can be used with other coupons" rule) — it stops at the first match, so only one auto-apply coupon is ever added to a cart at a time even if several would qualify.

If the customer removes an auto-applied coupon from the cart, it is not re-added during that session. Auto-apply coupons are flagged with a red Auto-Apply badge in the coupon list and counted in the Auto-Apply KPI.
