In the Numbers list the Status column shows where each line is in the setup:

• Choose a number – you created the line (title/plan) but have not searched for and selected a phone number yet. Click the link (or Choose Number on the detail page) to search by area code.
• Buy the number – a number has been selected but not purchased/activated. For the basic plan the detail page shows Ready to purchase with a Buy The Number button; for the call-forwarding plan it shows Request being processed while Sprwt completes it.
• Active – the number is purchased and "active and ready to use"; it now appears in the From dropdowns.

Only Active numbers can be used to send.
