• Active – auto-renewal is on and the subscription is not cancelled. It will be charged again inside its next renewal window and new delivery dates will be added.
• Paused (also shown as "Manual" renewal) – auto-renewal is off but the subscription is not cancelled. Already-paid delivery dates are still fulfilled; nothing new is charged until it is reactivated (manually, or automatically on a scheduled unpause date).
• Cancelled – the subscription was cancelled (by an admin or the customer). Auto-renewal is off and it will never renew; upcoming paid dates are still delivered unless they were cancelled individually.

On the detail page the header pill shows Active / Paused / Cancelled for the customer's current subscription, and the Renew: row reads "Automatic" or "Manual".
