The Add your meals panel (or Add your catering meals on the Catering Menu task) asks How would you like to add them?:

• Let AI draft it – about 1 min; your first draft is free, later drafts use your AI credits. AI drafts meals with ingredients, nutrition and allergens which you review before anything is created, and confirming schedules them across every delivery (or catering) day in the weeks window you chose.
• Import a spreadsheet – about 10 min, free. Download the template, fill it in, upload it back. Every meal it creates lands on just the kitchen's single next upcoming delivery (or catering) date, not spread across the window – you place it on further dates yourself afterward.
• Add meals myself – about 30 min, free. Stage 1 Add meals here opens the Meal recipes task inside the wizard; stage 2 Group them into a menu unlocks once you have at least one meal and opens the real menu planner (a calendar) in a new tab, where you place meals on dates by hand – nothing is auto-scheduled on this route.

All three routes need the kitchen to already have upcoming delivery (or catering) dates, since there's nowhere to put a meal otherwise; a notice explains this when none exist. Your choice of route is remembered per kitchen and step.
