What are the possible statuses of a delivery date and how do they change?
A delivery date is always in one of these states:
- Open – customers can order and subscribers can choose meals. New dates start open.
- Closed (In Progress) – ordering is locked. Reached by Close Meal Selections on the dashboard, by the Cut-off Timer job, or by the auto-finish job. Can go back to Open via Reopen Meal Selections.
- Finished – production and fulfilment complete. Reached by Finish Production (only from Closed) or by the auto-finish job after the Finish Production Automation Delay. Can go back to Closed via Reopen Production.
Separately, a date with no meals on its menu shows as No Menu on the calendar even though it is technically open. Every transition is logged with who/when (manual) or a timestamp (automatic).
