It shows a sales summary — Gross Sales, Total Refunds, Average Sale, Total Orders, Discounts, Net Sales, Tax, and Tips — for a date range you pick with Begin/End buttons. In the current version this does return real numbers rather than an error, but the totals are not scoped to the specific POS device you're using — they're pulled from all checkouts in the selected date range rather than only that register's sales, so the figures shown here may not match what that device actually rang up. For a total you can trust as scoped to one device or drawer, use the admin-side Daily Closeout Report or Drawer History report instead.
