On the Payments tab, Sprwt tries to resolve each Stripe payment's underlying charge on your connected Stripe account. When that lookup succeeds, the refund icon opens Sprwt's own "stripe/payments/{id}" page for that charge, where you can refund or inspect it. The ID column always opens the Sprwt checkout with the full order details. If Sprwt can't resolve the charge (for example your Stripe keys aren't reachable, or the payment has no Connect transfer to look up), the refund icon falls back to the Refund to balance option instead.
