When building the Schedule, a manager can pick any job role for a shift — Sprwt does not check whether that role is actually one of the roles listed on the employee's own profile. When the employee clocks in (or a manager creates/edits their timecard), Sprwt looks for the shift's role in the employee's Roles list on their employee profile to find its Hourly Rate. If that role isn't in the employee's own Roles list, Sprwt does not block the clock-in or use $0 — it silently falls back to the hourly rate of whichever role happens to be first in the employee's Roles list, while the timesheet still shows the shift's actual role name. This can make the Estimated Wage on Timesheets wrong without any error being shown. To avoid it, make sure every role you schedule an employee for is also added (with a rate) on their employee profile.
